2 The main topics 1.Particularity of the geographical location of the Central Asia; 2.Rabies epidemiological situation in the region; 3.Activities of the Veterinary Serves; 4.Measures for rabies control.

3 The main tasks for the future Support of the international community is required: - development of the programs for risk management for animal rabies; - development of strategy and tactics of rabies control in the field and in the cities; - application of international experience in the Central Asian countries; - education programs for modern techniques for rabies diagnosis, monitoring and control.
