Used for grade placement and verification of credits earned. Foreign school records are interpreted for placement and evaluated for credits at no cost. Please contact us by calling 305-884-2044. Original records required to grant credits. Submit a completed Foreign Records HEAT Cover sheet with the student records. Foreign school records may not be available. In these instances, you may utilize the Temporary Student Placement FM 6008 Foreign school records are not required for registration. Foreign School Records

Student Visa The Foreign Records and Student Visas department provides assistance with securing completing, and submitting appropriate immigration forms. This is the only Miami-Dade County Public Schools department with personnel authorized to complete the I-20 form, required for an F-1 and M-1 Visa. Other functions include the collection of tuition reimbursement, as required by current immigration law only for student visas.

Immigration Issues Flyer should be posted or distributed to parents to help guide them to answer school related immigration issues. Foreign exchange students (J-1 Visa) requesting placement in your school are to be directed to the department of Foreign Records/Student Visas in FASCO for processing. Do not sign the IAPP-66 Form (ACCEPTANCE FORM). Parents, students or staff with immigration issues are to contact FASCO by calling 305-884-2044.
