Who are we? Matt Katlen: Scheduler for MAOA, Seminar Instructor Paul Kelcey: President of MAOA, Seminar Instructor MAOA: MAOA's core goal of training and preparing new officials as well as guiding existing officials to constantly improve.

The 2 and 10 penalties For the 2013-2017 seasons these rules were all changed from minor, major, match options to 2 and 10 or 5 and game penalties: Boarding Charging Head Contact Please note that Check from Behind has always been either a 2 and 10 or a 5 and game penalty. Avoidable contact with the goalie in the privilege area is considered charging

Online Modules for Officials Starting last season online modules were introduced for officials Intended to increase consistency throughout USA Hockey More time seeing plays and how that call may or may not happen How better position allows for better calls
