3. Who are we?  Matt Katlen: Scheduler for MAOA, Seminar Instructor  Paul Kelcey: President of MAOA, Seminar Instructor  MAOA: MAOA's core goal of training and preparing new officials as well as guiding existing officials to constantly improve.

The 2 and 10 penalties  For the 2013-2017 seasons these rules were all changed from minor, major, match options to 2 and 10 or 5 and game penalties:  Boarding  Charging  Head Contact Please note that Check from Behind has always been either a 2 and 10 or a 5 and game penalty. Avoidable contact with the goalie in the privilege area is considered charging

6. Online Modules for Officials  Starting last season online modules were introduced for officials  Intended to increase consistency throughout USA Hockey  More time seeing plays and how that call may or may not happen  How better position allows for better calls
