4. In order to have theatre you need three things: 1. Actors : people to perform the story 2. Audience : people to watch the performance 3. Stage : a place to perform Everything else helps to make the performance more interesting to watch and easier to understand

8. different things put on the stage to help create the proper setting for the play; Set: This helps both the actors and the audience “believe” the story being shown

9. lights can be used to help change the mood of the action or to help show the setting of the story; Lighting: Lighting can also be used to help show the beginning and ending of the action

10. Sound : can be broken into two major parts  Music : helps to express the emotion of the scene  Sound Effects: can be used as part of the background of the set (bird sounds, etc) or to express actions that happen on the stage (door closing, gun shots, etc)
