3. Our Response Titus 2:11-14 God’s grace also requires us to: Deny ungodliness Deny worldly lusts Live soberly, righteously, and godly Patiently waiting in hope Be zealous of good works God’s grace teaches us to repent Romans 2:4

4. Romans 5:6-8 Jesus did what we could not do for ourselves God gives us grace we do not deserve God did this because He loves us Our Response Romans 10:8-17

5. The saving word must be in our hearts and mouths v.8 (belief and confession v.9-10) It must be preached v.14 We must first hear it v.17 Romans 10:9-10 Belief is an internal assent Confession is external assent Results are salvation and righteousness

6. Acts 2:36-38 They heard the truth about Jesus It pierced their hearts They asked, “What shall we do?” Acts 2:38 Repent is an internal commitment Be baptized is an external commitment The results are remission of sins and gift of the Holy Spirit
