God’s Delight 1 st Timothy 2:4-7

2:4 – “who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.” 2:5 – “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.”

1 st Timothy 2:4-7 2:6 – “who gave himself as a ransom for all, which is the testimony given at the proper time.” 2:7 – “For this I was appointed a preacher and an apostle (I am telling the truth, I am not lying), a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.”

God’s Willful Pleasure God delights in people being saved – 2 nd Peter 3:9 Ezekiel 33:11 If God desires all people to be saved, why doesn’t everyone get saved? – Man’s has the responsibility to believe – God doesn’t force people to be saved Salvation and truth are linked together Do you have the same desire as God?

God’s Wonderful Provision There is one God – Deuteronomy 6:4 There is one mediator – A mediator reconciles two opposing parties and has to be able to relate to both sides – Jesus, being God, can relate to God – Jesus, being man, can relate to man Jesus paid the ransom for sin

God’s Wise Procedure God appointed Paul: – As a preacher – As an apostle – As a teacher God appoints saved sinners Are you fulfilling your God appointed assignment?

Conclusion To God’s Delight God delights in saving people God’s plan for saving people: – Believers praying for the lost – The provision – gift – of God’s Son Jesus Christ – The procedure – saved sinners taking the gospel to the lost God wants you to saved – Be saved today
