3. o Dictators  Adolf Hitler  Joseph Stalin  Benito Mussolini  Used propaganda to promote themselves and their policies  Controlled Radios or “The airwaves” o Technology  Dictators were able to take control of the radios and were able to draw attention of many people  ¾ people had at least one radio  German movies were very popular in the 1920’s  ¼ adults watched movies twice a week in the 1920’s  Movies promoted dictators such as Adolf Hitler  “The Great Dictator”, a movie about Hitler
