10. www.med.monash.edu 10 Choosing Spam Filter Settings If you want strict filtering (more messages filtered to your nominated spam folder), set to a number smaller than 5. If you want lenient filtering (more messages delivered to your Inbox) then set to a number higher than 5. Messages in Spam-30 are automatically deleted after they have been there 30 days. Spam-7 and Spam-60 work similarly, for 7 and 60 days respectively.
