Paul is focusing on the work of Salvation. In focusing on the work he explains the means. God= Holy, Spirit, Righteous Man= Sinful, Flesh, Imperfect

Mediator- someone who intervenes between two parties to resolve a conflict or ratify a covenant.

Christ was “ransom” (payment) for us: 1)He took our punishment for our sins 2)He purchased us as slaves as our kinsman-redeemer.

“ 8 I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.” 1 Timothy 2:8

The Greek word for men is referring to literal “males”. 1)Holy Hands (means purity, Psalm 24:4). 2)Dissention, doubt- Half-spirited or committed. Men are to be Holy and faithful!
