1 How to request a book from another library via I-Share

2 If you can’t find it at JJC… try I-Share! I-Share provides access to 64 other mostly academic libraries around the state Includes all the state universities Request online from here or from home Items come via statewide delivery system

3 Go to the library website at www.jjc.edu/lrc You’ll want to search JJC first!

4 Let’s see if JJC has the title Lincoln’s assassins

5 JJC doesn’t own—but don’t give up! Click here to repeat your Search in I-Share

6 Click on the title you want

7 Click Request button

8 Type in your JJC ID number (starts with 0) Select Joliet Junior College You’ll need to login

9 Click OK

10 Type your ID again! Then click on “Submit request”

11 Click into Renew Books/ My Account to check status

13 Most books come within a week but can take longer so request ASAP! We call you when the book is here There is no charge for this service You can renew items by logging into your online account (or ask library staff)
