Also geared towards harmonizing all seed related activities and legislations  MIAD tasked in producing certified seed for Irrigated rice cultivars:- Bs 217 &370, BW 196, IR 2793-80-1, ITA 310  While KARI = NERICA’s:- N1, N4, N10& N11

4. ROADMAP Purification of standard seed for all the five irrigated varieties commenced with stakeholders from rice sector meeting in MIAD center to select phenotypically ‘Super’ panicles from the foundation seed crop
