Students will know how to operate PhotoStory, understand the importance of “cleanliness” and uniformity, and know the steps to add effect visual aids to create a PhotoStory Students will be able to create a PhotoStory for their Cento on their own.

Step 1: Find Pictures The first step could be more difficult than it sounds. You must find pictures that you believe will go along with your Cento. Tip: Try and find pictures that are higher resolution/are bigger. These work best when are displayed at full screen.

Step 2: Open PhotoStory 3 Once we have PhotoStory open, we will click on: “Begin a new story”

Step 3: Import Pictures We have clicked next and we should be at this step. Click on import pictures

Step 3: Import Pictures Clicking on Import Pictures should bring up a file browser that looks like this

Step 4: Adding Text We click next and we are at the step where we add text to the photos

Step 5: Adding Narration Now we will add Narration. Speak clearly with no one around so it is understandable It may take a few tries to get it how you want it to sound!

Step 6: Add Background Music To add background music, we will click on Select Music. The music level should be kept low and should fit the mood of the poem.

Step 7: Saving Your Story Next, we will save our story for playback on a computer. Keep the activities the same and you may change the file location by clicking on “Browse”

Step 8: View or Exit Now you have the opportunity to watch your story or exit. You should keep track of where you saved it to come back to later.
