WEBiT Adding a new page

1. View a page like the one you wish to create a. Navigate to a page with a similar layout to the new page you wish to create. Then click on ‘New Page’ 2. New Page details a. Select ‘Copy of Current Page’ b. Enter a Page Title for your new page a a b

3. Make changes to your new page 4. Publishing the new page a. Make the changes you want to your new page – header, images, text etc. When you are ready click on ‘Publish’ - a. A dialogue box will display asking for a name for your new page. Make sure it is all in lowercase and has an ‘html’ suffix. b. Click on ‘Publish’ a a b

5. Make links to your new page - 1 We have just created a new page that is an ‘orphan’ – that is no other page links to it. To create the link: a. Go to the page you want your new page linked to and click on ‘Edit Page’ a 6. Make links to your new page - 2 a. Type in the name of the link you are adding a

13. Make links to your new page - 9 a. Hover your mouse over the new link. It will change colour. Click on it to go to your new page. a
