3 Five Days in Switzerland… cont… Strengths Quest Analysis - All participants took a strengths assessment designed to help them learn ways to leverage their talents at work/school – ultimately allowing them to become more engaged, productive, and successful. They were then given opportunities to team with those with varied strengths to problem solve using the Design Thinking Model Design Thinking - Design Thinking is a creative problem solving process developed at Stanford University that encourages inquiry, empathy, collaboration and experimentation to develop innovative solutions. Two areas of focus with implications for our schools:

5 Belief- Has certain core values that are unchanging. Out of these values emerges a defined purpose for life. Connectedness- Has faith in links between all things. They believe there are few coincidences and that almost every event has a reason. Context- Enjoys thinking about the past. They understand the present by researching history. Strategic- They create alternative ways to proceed. Faced with any given scenario, they can quickly spot the relevant issues and patterns Self Assurance- Feel confident in their ability to manage their own lives. They possess an inner compass that gives them confidence that their decisions are right. Strengths Quest Analysis…
