3. I Want to Act!  Auditions are announced for each show.  I HATE SHAKESPEARE: Aug 25 OR 26 (next Monday or Tuesday)  For Plays: Perform a short selection (or side) from the play  For Musicals: Sing “My Country Tis of Thee”; Callbacks include songs from the show or selections from the script

4. I Want to Act!  What if I don’t get in?  What if I do get in?  Rehearsals go M-Th 4:00-5:30; not everybody is at every rehearsal  “Tech Week” is the week before the show—we WILL go later  “Dress Week” is the week of the show—we WILL go later!  Performances in the evenings  STRIKE and the Cast Party

6. I’m Not Sure What I Want!  Drama Club is for you!  Meets most Thursdays during the Fall and Winter season 4:00-4:30  We play theatre games, do improv, and just have a lot of fun  You don’t have to commit to a full schedule or a show

Thespians  The International Thespian Society is an honor organization for students in theatre  SMW has a Thespian troupe that our Junior Thespian troupe feeds into  Join SMW with up to half the points you need to be a Thespian your freshman year!  Thespians help publicize and raise money for productions  Thespians host the musical revue fundraiser  Thespian Executive Board
