Children that might need occupational therapy services are: Those who need assistance with the daily life activities such as Play – grasping and releasing toys, hitting a ball with a bat Fine motor – handwriting, opening jars, using utensils to eat, using scissors Self-help – eating, dressing, toileting, grooming Sensory processing – difficulty processing information received from the senses, getting upset when someone touches them, getting upset by loud noises Visual-motor skills – eye/hand coordination
