25. Francisco, The Philippines I’ve been scout for two years and it’s been a lot of fun. This year we’ve been learning to survive in the forest. I’ve learnt to find my way using a map and the sun. We’ve been studying forest plants but I haven’t learnt to recognise edible ones yet. I’ve also learnt some first aid.

26. Z OLTAN, H UNGARY In my scout group, we focus on our environment. We collect litter, clear our Local river, monitor water pollution and Feed wild birds in winter. This year we *ve Been planting new trees in our area. I ve planted more than a hundred myself !.

We’ve been taking photos of street signs, entrances to shops and public buildings and the pavements. We’ve also been talking to police officers. When we finish, we’ll prepare a report for the local council.
