8.  Questioning children around their book is just as important as reading with them  Sign the reading record whenever you read with your child  Housepoints awarded every Friday for children that have read 3 or more times in one week  Don’t forget to remind your child to change their book in the library  Library is open from 8:30 – 8:45 access from the playground

9.  Assessment without Levels – all year groups are now moving to new assessment system introduced last year. ◦ Workshops 24 th September 2:15pm and 6:30pm  Library – volunteers needed to work in library during the school day. Please contact Miss Dempster  Uniform – no trainers including Vans or Nike air force 1  PE Kit - If children are not able to take part in PE a written letter from parents/guardian is required. Children who do not have their PE kit, will not be able take part in the lesson.
