Rebuilding Lives Despite what they went through, survivors never clamored to be heard, and did not demand attention. Instead, they quietly went about the business of rebuilding lives, and reconstructing the societies in which they lived.

Problems With Housings In some of survivors’ houses, other people occupied it and never gave it back. The belongings and everything else were also taken away.

Religions Almost everybody continued to follow their original religion.

Education Some went on to complete their education while others completely started over their education.

Medical Care Even though many people didn’t discriminate the Jews, there were some who still did. So, the survivors got the best treatment. However some doctors were not being fair, and they would misdiagnose.

Moral Values The survivors tried their best to not hate anybody. Not only that, but they also taught their children to not hate anyone.

What People Did To Forget The Tragedy To forget what the survivors had been through, many people started learning new languages, eventually got married and had families. By doing this, they believed that they would forget about Holocaust.

Why Are They So Important? Survivors of Nazi persecution are special because of the fact that they survived and the wish to narrate it to others.
