7.  Society may be against the cloning of an extinct animal for religious, ethical, and moral reasons.

8.  Bringing back an animal that has been extinct for thousands of years may have substantial effects on the food chain.  If the cloning of the woolly mammoth is successful it will open the door the cloning other extinct animals, and even humans.

9.  We believe that cloning the woolly mammoth may lead to both good and bad implications.

10.  Good  Scientific breakthrough  Some people will think it is a cool/ interesting and a learning experience  Some people will want to see a living mammoth  Bad  Some people may think that it is unethical to clone an extinct animal  Some people may disagree due to religious beliefs

11.  The woolly mammoths were thought to have gone extinct 4500 years ago.  What we call the Woolly Mammoth was actually a particular species of genus Mammuthus, Mammuthus primigenius.  Some woolly mammoths had 15 foot long tusks!  Woolly Rhinos also existed!
