Habitat In high mountainous areas Found in Central Asia, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Nepal, Mongolia, and China cold, rugged mountains

Diet and Size eat wild sheep/goats, rodents, hares, snowcock, horses,and young yaks kill prey that is 3 times its weight take 3 or 4 days to consume a sheep or goat Eat smaller animals especially in summer months Kills large animals twice monthly on average height: 2ft at shoulders Length: 6-7.5 ft Weight: 77-120 lbs Females are about 30% smaller than males Life span in wild is hard to determine but they have lasted up to 21 years in captivity

Reproduction They are pregnant for 93 to 110 days and usually have 2 to 3 cubs a litter There mating season is from January to mid-March and the males and females are only together for a short time after mating

Housing and Climate Requirements climate has to be cold and snowy Housing has to be in snowy mountain area in like trees and stuff

Other Facts They don’t travel in groups or packs they travel independently They are endangered because they are over hunted for their fur and organs There is about 6,000 left in the world U can adopt one which saves them from becoming extinct
