International Telecommunication Union Mar del Plata, Argentina, 2 September 2009 5 SG 16 involvements to Human Accessibilities Specification of interfaces on communication equipment in order to enable session and device control and media handling by people with varying capabilities and preferences Multimedia Services including mechanisms for trans- formation between different media forms of the same content in order to adapt to the capabilities of end users. (e.g. relay services for speech-impaired or deaf people) Mechanisms for inter-working with mono-media services in an accessible way (e.g. text telephony and voice telephony) ……. and so on Q 26 (Accessibility to Multimedia Systems and Services ) on; Q 26 developed Telecommunications Accessibility Checklist in Nov. 2006 and Rec. F.790, Telecommunications accessibility guidelines for older persons and persons with disabilities in Jan. 2007. It is currently working on standards for relay services
