2 Mid-Career Faculty Development: Leadership Management Training Leadership Management Institute Academic leaders often rise through the ranks based on their achievements as researchers, educators, and clinical care providers; however, these skills may not be sufficient to prepare them for the challenges of leadership and management in the complex environment of the academic medical center. This Institute has been offered every year with a particular cohort of mid-career faculty leaders in mind. Target Audiences: 2008-2009: Chairs, Assistant Deans, Center/Institute Directors 2009-2010: (Women’s Leadership and Management Institute) Mid-Career Women faculty 2011-2012: Division Directors 2012-2013: Mid-career level faculty in leadership roles (i.e.. division & program directors) Total attendees to date: 140
