Purpose of the project … harmonization of the activities in the SEE region related to the introduction of digital broadcasting services, in order to: speed-up the overall process of analogue switch-off in the region and further developments to more efficient technologies; maximize harmonization of legal and technical framework with the digitalization process in the EU; avoid policy, technology and market fragmentation; develop regional strategy for optimal use of freed frequency spectrum for new ICT broadband services and efficiently manage digital dividend 4

Digital Dividend in the region Will be used for mobile services Digital switchover to release the 800 MHz band Because of differences in DSO date additional cross-border coordination is needed Some agreements for the 800 MHz band already signed
