Eleyan 2 General Physics II: Electricity & Magnetism I.Course Description Coulomb's law, the electrostatic field, Gauss ’ s Law, the electrostatic potential, capacitance and dielectrics, electric current, resistance and electromotive force, direct current circuits, magnetic field and magnetic forces, sources of magnetic fields, Ampere's Law, Faraday's Law, induction and Maxwell's equations. 1.To provide a foundation in physics necessary for further study in science, engineering and technology. 2.To provide an appreciation of the nature of physics, its methods and its goals. 3.To contribute to the development of the student's thinking process through the understanding of the theory and application of this knowledge to the solution of practical problems.
