6 The Holy Grail The story: The cup thought to used by Christ during the Last Supper. Also thought to have miraculous powers. What happened to it? Who knows? Many stories talk of the Holy Grail. 7 King Arthur A fabled British king in many legends: Often depicted as a hero and an ideal ruler (but there is very little historical evidence about him at all…). Maybe ~5 th or 6 th century…but some scholars argue that King Arthur never existed.
