10 KEY LESSONS LEARNED FROM WORKSHOP Availability of funding, such as USF, helped in the growth of ICT in countries that implement a transparent, multi- sectoral, and objective-driven program; ICT champions are needed at all levels ; eCommerce applications in telecentres, such as Koreas and Thailands, can help boost the local economy and increase income of communities;

11 OBJECTIVES FOR FOLLOW-UP Explore the possibility of new funding sources for ICT initiatives, such as USF; Develop strategic and political support for ICT initiatives. Conceptualize and design the eCommerce application for Community eCenters and initiate partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry for online marketing of local products;
