Papers are solicited that address experimental or theoretical aspects of the following topics: Surface physics of materials exposed to plasmas Plasma facing materials, coatings, and conditioning Erosion and deposition Plasma fuelling, recycling and tritium inventory Plasma surface interaction in future fusion devices Plasma edge diagnostics Plasma boundary physics Plasma properties near surfaces Plasma impurities, their transport and control Control of the plasma boundary, e.g. by divertors, pumping, and biasing

Submission 1. Identification Fill in the Abstract Submission Form to identify your contribution. Your abstract will be automatically registered and assigned an abstract ID and a password. This information is necessary for abstract submission and eventual modification. 2. Preparation Prepare your abstract according to the format specifications. Create a Postscript file from your abstract. Sample abstracts are provided for Microsoft Word and LaTeX. However, you may use every word processor capable of generating a Postscript file. The Author's Kit contains all information for abstract and paper preparation, along with sample documents. 3. Submission Submit your Postscript file containing your abstract. You need the abstract ID and password provided with the registration. Your submitted abstract will be processed automatically. If you wish to alter your submitted abstract, simply re-submit a new version. Please be aware that only the most recently submitted abstract is saved and will be used for the Book of Abstracts! 4. Authorization Review your submitted abstract by retrieving the processed version, using your abstract number and password. Please print your abstract and verify its correctness. If the abstract appears as desired, click "Yes" to confirm the abstract submission.
