Who are the Funding Sources? Yourself - Set an example by giving joyfully so that God can use you to be the first part of the answer to your prayer!

What Components might your Request include? Ministry Stories - Recognize, Remember, and Write Ministry Goals & Mission Statement Ministry Needs & Strategy Information about the Planter The Ministry Vision and Plan Listing of support from individuals, congregations, circuits, etc.

What Components might your Request include? Financial Needs Your plan for Supervision and Evaluation ANY of the other “specifics” requested by the potential grantor ALL of the other “specifics” requested by the potential grantor

Grant Writing Suggestions Follow their guidelines and deadlines Ask loads of questions (most will “bend over backwards” to be very helpful !)

Grant Writing Suggestions Don’t get discouraged or angry Say “Thank You!” Stay in touch with them Keep trying!
