Index File / Search db Type of Install Default should be complete Only use Web Front end for if dedicating servers to web application hosting Consider How management sites will be accessed when installing more than one SharePoint Server I.e. Central Administration, Shared Services Use PSConfig command line install for total control of configuration parameters Define Service accounts Minimum 4 Shouldn’t be domain administrators Least privilege access if required Plan for your databases ( see next few slides )
