Bring a browser is a pilot scheme to enable you to bring your own mobile device into school (iPod Touch, iPhone, Android, Blackberry etc) Don’t worry if you don’t have a device – you’ll still have full access to resources

Engage in inquiry learning Communicate effectively with your teachers through Edmodo Use media other than written to demonstrate your learning

Express your ideas in public forums Access a huge range of digital texts Become a confident, competent user of ICT who understands how powerful it is, but how problematic it can be as well

Darren Coxon Deputy Principal Website www.parksidefederation.org.uk Darren Coxon Deputy Principal Website www.parksidefederation.org.uk Bring a Browser: guidelines Lesson time: Earphones away Device on the desk, switched off on silent (or in bag if not needed for that lesson) You are only to use the device as and when instructed by teacher Failure to use correctly, or if used when not given permission – you will be given a warning Same sanctions as for any other poor behaviour

The music should not be able to be heard by anyone but you though! No music or device use during any test/controlled conditions work.
