Provincial Organisation
Ministry of National Education has been organised in 81 cities and 850 towns. Departments of Directories of National Education are: Management Staff Education-Training Budget-Investment Research-planning-statistics Inspection-guidance-investigation Ladies and gentleman there are also provincial organisations in 81 cities and 850 towns and these organisations involve all educational issues on behalf of the central organisation and Ministry has been delegating most of its activities day to day to provincial organisation.

Goals Of Education To raise all individuals as citizens who are committed to the principles and reforms of Atatürk and to the nationalism of Atatürk as expressed in the Constitution To raise them as constructive, creative and productive persons To prepare them for life by developing their interest, talents and capabilities The Elementary Education curriculum were revised in 2004 in Turkey. A large-scale educational reform has been implementing since 2005 in elementary education in country level. This reform aimed at major changes in the elementary education programs in subjects’ basis and has been described as “constructivist education reform”. The existing subjects such as social studies, science, mathematics and Turkish are addressing social and technical competencies and all these are expected to incorporate into curriculum in terms of reforms’ framework.
