Writing Non-Negotiable I will always remember to indent and create paragraphs. I will always use capital letters at the beginning of my sentences, and I will capitalize all proper nouns, especially the word “I”. I will not put random capital letters in the middle of my sentences. I will always put proper punctuation marks in my sentences and throughout my essay. I will always RE-READ what I write to make sure it makes sense. I will make sure my handwriting is NEAT, so the reader can understand what I’m writing. I promise to always introduce my narrative with a controlling idea or introduce my expository essay with a thesis statement that answers the prompt. I promise to conclude my narrative with a lesson learned or conclude my expository essay by restating my thesis a different way. I promise to always improve my WORD CHOICE before I submit my paper. I will ALWAYS write in complete sentences.
