2 Relative Growth: Growth Profile Summary Tables 1.Click on the TAKS Planning Tools link in the Planning Tools box on the school page. 2.In the top box - TAKS Profiles, locate the 2009 TAKS Growth Profiles. Click on the course or section under Current Enrollment to examine the Growth Profile Summary Tables. 3.Click on the total numbers at the end of the columns for underperforming, as expected, or outperforming to display a student roster. 4.Tiered groups can be formed using the relative growth profile data for the students.

7 Grouping Students Using LS/SE 1.Teachers may use any test (TAKS, Benchmark, or the ACP) to examine student progress on the LS/SE in a specific subject area. 2.After determining the most critical LS/SE, teachers can group students who performed poorly on these LSs /SEs by using any of the following tools in MyData Portal. Learning Standards History Student Profile Student Learning Profile Analyze by Learning Standard link

8 Learning Standards History Profile The LSH Profile for each student contains the cumulative scores for each LS/SE. Students with similar needs can be grouped together.

9 Learning Profile Students can be grouped by similar learning targets.

10 Sort by % Correct Click SE Historical performance can be accessed from the CIA Tools page by clicking the SE.

14 Exporting Data to Excel Spreadsheet To create a spreadsheet with student achievement data, follow these steps: 1.Locate the Teacher’s Current Students’ box on the school page (middle of the right column). 2.Select the course or section# for the data display. 3.Click the Export excel link (top left). 4.From the selection page, check the boxes or rows for all data to be displayed in the spreadsheet. 5. Click the Export to Excel link (at the top or bottom of the selection box) and open the file.
