2 FOODS The prime race in Venezuela is Latin. Therefore,they eat a lot of rice, beans, tortillas, and beef.

3 They also use a lot of sauces and cheeses. Sometimes, they make fried bananas and virgin drinks as a snack.

4 People Lately, Venezuelans have been protesting the denial of a presidential vote against present president, Hugo Chavez.

5 People (Continued) There has not been any national census since 1926 in Venezuela to confirm the total percentage of different ethnic groups. However, it has been estimated since 1990 that the percentage is the following: 68% mestizo, 21% unmixed caucasian, 10% black, and 1% Indian.
