11 Multipoint Tests Videoconference Bridge connected and worked with all V/C units. –PictureTel 900 & 600 Videoconference systems, Optus ADSL and Cable modem –IP Video phone over Optus ADSL –Netmeeting over Otpus ADSL –Note: Telstra ADSL NetMeeting connection not tested in Mulituser session. Best performance at 128K throughput settings.

12 Future Developments All new Videoconference products are supporting functional IP based services. Carriers to consider implementing a Public Video IP network and ISDN Gateway links.

13 Summary Latest versions of Videoconference devices are reliable and functional for IP. Dedicated IP-VPN networks provide required QOS for a Video over IP Service Internet services work, but are not yet of reliable QOS for commercial usage. Future Plans for carriers may include a Video over IP Public IP-VPN and Gateway services.
