General Plan - Overview/Purpose ✤ The purpose of the manual is to provide staff with a quick reference guide to use in a crisis. It is the _______________ (name of organization) philosophy that a planned and organized approach is more effective in reducing psychological and social difficulties following a crisis. The Crisis Response Manual includes procedures that were designed to deal with a number of tragedies that could occur in ____________ (name of organization). Plan B? ✤ How do you want office staff to respond to calls from media? ✤ DO NOT allow media personnel in your school building. ✤ Explore alternatives for keeping students/staff aware of developments. In the same way there are curriculums and activities for processing student reactions to crisis.
