18 Success Stories Active Particle Fallout Monitor Developed to replace CFCs and other solvents during precision cleaning & cleanliness verification of Shuttle mechanical-electrical components Currently licensed to both Va-Tran Systems and Preferred Engineering Personal Cabin Pressure Altitude Monitor & Warning System Gas-Liquid Supersonic Cleaning and Cleaning Verification Spray System Working prototype developed in support of Shuttle for KSC Cleanroom Monitoring and further developed by KSC and Dual Use partner. Currently licensed to Aerospace Engineering Group of IDEA, LLC The monitor was conceived to give Space Shuttle and Space Station crew members added independent protection from "an incipient depressurization event," Licensees are anticipated shortly.

19 Success Stories (cont.) Ligno Sulfonic Acid Doped Polyaniline (Ligno-Pani) Developed by University of Arkansas under contract to KSC as an electrostatic coating for clothing. Licensed to GeoTech Chemical Company to be incorporated into their commercial product “Catize” for corrosion protection. Ligno-Pani ® Developed to improve the efficiency of non-intrusive cable testing for the Shuttle. Licensed to Cyrospace Technologies Corporation. Cyroscan-2000 Non-Intrusive Cable Scanner Vision Spaceport Strategic Planning Tool v1(Oct 2000)  Models design influences on space launch infrastrusture and operations  Life cycle cost and throughput performance
