Admonish One Another Romans 15:13-16 “And concerning you, my brethren, I myself also am convinced that you yourselves are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge and able also to admonish one another.” Romans 15:14 Noutheto: to correct; to instruct; to counsel; to admonish; to warn.

Admonish One Another In Rm 15:14, Scripture tells us what makes us able to ‘noutheto’ [warn; counsel; admonish; instruct; correct] one another. 1.Full of goodness {Rm 15:14(a)} 2. Complete in knowledge {Rm 15:14(b)}

Admonish One Another Rm 15:13 May the God of hope fill you (all) with; Hope—our future in Jesus Joy—the presence of Jesus Peace—our current circumstance with Jesus And abound in hope By the power of the Holy Spirit.

Admonish One Another 1.Full of goodness {Rm 15:14(a)} Following Jesus whole-heartedly. (Matt 7:1-3) 2. Complete in knowledge {Rm 15:14(b)} Not what we think but what Scripture says (Col 1:28,29)

Admonish One Another Some advice when Noutheto-ing {correct; instruct; counsel; admonish; warn} 1.Noutheto—with concern and love. Acts 20:31 Eph 4:15 2. While – noutheto – stay involved and do not take it personally. while speaking the truth in love remember Eph 4:29-32

Admonish One Another Some advice when Noutheto-ing {correct; instruct; counsel; admonish; warn} 3. Noutheto – should have as its goal Col 1:28,29 Questions to ask: Can I say that my life is under the power of the Holy Spirit? Full of goodness. Do I speak with deep love and concern? Am I being self-serving?(wanting to be right) Am I willing to stay engaged?
