PODCASTING Podcast is a digital media. Podcasting is a convenient and low cost technology. It can be produced by anyone with access to the Internet. The author of a podcast is called a podcaster

Growth of Podcast Internet activity is pervasive. Broadband has grown very rapidly. People have the experience of streaming while enjoying the simplicity of downloading. There is the iPod phenomenon and the adoption of portable MP3 playback devices.

Subscribing to a Podcast The easiest way to become a regular listener to a particular podcast is through RSS subscription to the podcast. The link to this RSS subscription feed will be advertised through an orange button. To do this, simply copy and paste the address of the RSS feed into the RSS reader programme. The advantage with subscribing is that the software automatically downloads the subscribed podcasts to the mp3 player or computer.

Creating and publishing a podcast An audio file should be created in.mp3 format. An audio file created in.mp3 format. That file must contain our own radio show or any audio we wish others to have.
