Governor’s Round Table Soroptimist Disaster Grants for Women and Girls  Goal: To ensure that women and girls have the resources they need to prepare for or recover from a disaster.  80% of the funded projects will meet their stated objectives. 42nd Biennial Convention Soroptimist International of the Americas

Governor’s Round Table Soroptimist Project Matching  Goals:  To improve the lives of women and girls in local communities.  To match Soroptimist clubs that need support for their local projects with clubs that have support to give. 42nd Biennial Convention Soroptimist International of the Americas The Rocky Mountain Region will support SI/Yerevan, Armenia’s project “Preventive program against cervical cancer”

Governor’s Round Table Violet Richardson Award  Goal: Through recognition of their volunteer efforts, girls will continue to be active volunteers.  100% of survey respondents were still volunteering. 42nd Biennial Convention Soroptimist International of the Americas 2010-2011 federation finalist Allyson Ahlstrom in front of her organization, Threads for Teens.

12. Governor’s Round Table New Girl-Focused Project 42nd Biennial Convention Soroptimist International of the Americas We will research and design a new program that creates real change in the lives of disadvantaged girls.

Governor’s Round Table Women’s Opportunity Awards  Goal: Through increased education, women will secure employment that provides an improved standard of living for themselves and their dependents. 42nd Biennial Convention Soroptimist International of the Americas 2010-2011 federation finalist Lisa Boyd and her daughters.
