WEST NEW YORK AMATEUR SOCCER LEAGUE LEAGUES OFFERED Men, Women, Coed-Recreation, Over 30 & 40 HOW TO PAY OFFICIAL’S FEE Officials will be paid in cash for each game at the following rates for team: Open$50.00 (three-man system) Men’s Division 1$50.00 (three-man system) Men’s Division 2 $40.00 (two-man system) All Coed-Rec Divisions$40.00 (two-man system) All Women’s division$40.00 (two-man system) 2-man system: If only one official shows for the game, that official should be paid $60.00 3-man system: If only two officials show for the game, each official should be paid $40.00 If the official does not show by game time, please contact Alejandro Parra (607) 3790957 Any concerns/complaints about the quality of officials should be submitted via e-mail to lifasocceracademy@gmail.com & ap64@cornell.edu lifasocceracademy@gmail.comap64@cornell.edu AWARDS First place:New uniform set, Champion trophy, Individual Metals and $300.00 credit toward the registration for next season Second place:Individual Metals and a second place trophy TrophiesTop scorer, MVP, Best Defender and Best Goalie INJURY PREVENTION All participants must be aware that some risks are involved when participating in physical programs. If you are not physically fit to participate in an active sport, please consult your physician. Each player is responsible for his or her own medical coverage Participants or spectators attending these games, releases this league. Its officers, and its representatives from all demands resulting from any injuries sustained while participating in or attending these games. FORFEITS A forfeit is when a team does not show up for their scheduled game or doesn’t have enough players to start the game at the schedule time. Forfeited games are not rescheduled. A loss will be credited to your final league standings. Two forfeits may mean an automatic withdrawal from the league.

Teams forfeiting scheduled games will be charged the appropriate forfeit fee as follows: Men’s Division l $ 50.00 Men’s Division ll $ 50.00 Coed-Rec Division $ 50.00 Women’s Division $ 50.00 Forfeit fees must be paid within 72 hours of the game. If a team is dropped from the league all future games schedule for that team will be forfeited to their opponents. Only under certain circumstances will a game be rescheduled, but you need to contact Richard Parker rich@rcpfinancial.com at least 72 hours in advance so there will be time to contact the other team as well as the referees. Otherwise, the forfeit fee will be applied and your game will not be reschedule.rich@rcpfinancial.com WITHDRAWAL REFUNDS Once the registration payment for a team has been received for a particular season and that team decides to withdrawal, for any reason, the following refund schedule will apply. Up to 7 days prior to the 1st game, the refund will be 80% Within 3 days prior to the 1 st game, the refund will be 50% There will be NO REFUND after the 1 st game MANAGER’S RESPONSIBILITIES The manager is the primary communication link between his/her team and the league coordinator. It is the manager’s responsibility to take the initiative to clarify information about the operation of the league. In addition, the manager must: Educate their respective team and spectators of the league rules and see to it that they abide by them. By entering a team into this league, the manager accepts the responsibility of the actions of his/her players and spectators before, during and after the game. Inform all players that they are playing at their risk and explain the liability release on the application/roster form to all players before putting them on the roster. For proof of eligibility, inform all players that they must bring a picture I.D. to every game. Obtain league information (deadline, rainouts, post-season tournament, etc.). Present a copy of your team roster (and ID Passes for each player) to official prior to the start of every game. The official will retain them until the completion of the game. PLAYING REGULATIONS The rules of play shall be F.I.F.A. Laws of the game with the addition of the following league rule. The team that fail to start with eleven players and/or manager will lost a point from the standings. GAME LENGTH Men, Women, Coed-Rec 45 minutes halves - Over 30 & 40 : 35 minutes halves all with fifteen minutes break at half time

GAME TIME Teams and Officials are expected to be at the field 15 minutes prior to the game time listed on the League/Division schedule (See Game Starting Time). UNPLAYABLE GAMES Unplayable games (due to weather or field conditions) are decided by the league. Call (607) 592-8275 at 7:30 am on the day of the scheduled game to find out game day status. If field status is questionable, the official at the field site will make the final decision as to whether or not a field is playable. Games stopped, after the completion of the first half due to inclement weather, are considered official games and will be no re scheduled. Games stopped, before the end of the first half are completed, will be rescheduled to play the remain of the game. LEAGUE STANDINGS League standings will be determined on a winning percentage basis. Winners are determined by a point system as follows: WINS = 3 POINTSTIES = 1 POINTLOSSES = 0 POINTS LEAGUE SCHEDULE Each team will be scheduled to play at least 10 games. The league reserves the right to modify schedules or locations for any teams participating. Soccer schedules are corrected and updated as the need arises. All attempts are made to keep the number of schedule revisions to minimum. However, once the schedule is revised it is the manager’s responsibility to follow the corrected (revised) schedule. If the corrected schedule is not followed, a forfeit will be assessed. RAIN/MAKEUP POLICY We will make every effort to make up games that are rained out. However, we cannot control an act of nature and it may be necessary to cancel/eliminate games. Make up games may be scheduled after the final scheduled game to be played at the same times. No refunds will be offered for any games not re-scheduled. ROSTERS & PLAYERS LIST 1. Teams may have a maximum of 20 players on the roster. Teams not having a valid roster and ID Passes filed with our league before the 2 nd played game, forfeit every game played until the roster is properly filed. A copy of the rosters and ID Passes must be presented to officials prior to the start of all scheduled games

2. No player may participate until he/she is officially on the roster. Failure to comply result in forfeits (loss of 3 points in the standings). 3. A player MUST show a photo I.D. On the playing field in case of player protest. 4. Only players with ID Passes are permitted to play. ROSTER VIOLATIONS Teams with a roster violation that has resulted from an ineligible player shall forfeit that game. The win will be awarded to the opposing team. ROSTER CHANGES 1. An unlimited number of players may be added through the 9 th week of the season within the 20 maximum number of players. 2. For Open Divisions- contact the league coordinator (Roger Vargas) to validate the ID Pass for the new player to be added. 3. If a team already has 20 players and would like to add a new player; one player must be released by turning in his/her ID Pass to the league coordinator. 4. A player may release himself/herself from a team without the manager’s approval by: Notifying to the manager of his/her decision. Contact league coordinator to cancel ID pass and change roster If a player knowingly registers with two teams, that player will be suspended and will not be permitted to play for the remainder of the season. PLAYERS EQUIPMENT ALL JERSEYS ON A TEAM MUST BE THE SAME COLOR WITH PERMANENT NUMBERS ON THE BACK. NO DUPLICATE NUMBERS MAY WORN. NO TAPED OR MAGIC MARKER NUMBERS. SHIRTS MAY NOT BE EXCHANGED DURING THE GAME. 1. Home team MUST change jerseys in case of a conflict. Home team is listed on the right side of the schedule. 2. We strongly encourage teams to have a different colored second set of uniforms. 3. SHIN GUARDS ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL PLAYERS. Stockings must be pulled over shin guards so that they cover them completely. The league will follow F.I.F.A. Rules for illegal equipment. 4. The league will furnish the game ball, size 5.

GAME PROTESTS Any protest involving the application of a specific League Rule or F.I.F.A. Rule must be filed in the following manner: The protesting manager must inform the officials and the opposing team’s manager/captain before the beginning of the time of the particular play or decision that he/she is lodging protest. The officials should investigate the complaint on the field and decide accordingly. Their decision is FINAL. Any game protest made after play has resumed is not considered. Only protests concerning rule interpretations or player eligibility are accepted. You may not protest judgment calls by the officials. GAME STARTING TIME The game starting time is the listed on the schedule (if a game is scheduled to start 1:00 pm., the officials will start their clock at that time whether the players are ready or not. Before the start of the game, managers should check their timepiece with official’s. There is a ten (10) minute grace period regarding the arrival of teams to start a game. A team may start with as few as 7 players. If both teams do not have the minimum of 7 players after the grace period has elapsed, a double forfeit will be declared. (In this case, both teams will be loose the game). The 10 minute grace period is to be considered as 10 minutes of game elapsed. ( The third time the team is late, a point will be deducted from their standing and every time there after. CAUTION CARDS The accumulation of three yellow (caution) cards will result in the suspension from the following game. Officials need to keep track of yellow cards show to players and give that information to the league coordinator via email. EJECTIONS Any ejections from a game will cause a team to play short. Penalty is an automatic one game suspension pending investigation of the official’s ejection report. The ejection form properly submitted will then be acted upon by the league coordinator with the correspondent report. Additional Rules concerning fighting, etc.: Teams who have fans that enter the field during a fight will be suspended permanently from league play.

Player who starts the fight (throws punches, etc.) will receive an automatic four game suspension. Any player running to the area to become involved in or escalate the fight will be permanently suspended for one year. Team will be suspended when fans do not comply. 911 will be called when a player, fans or team endanger the rest of the participants. Manager must sign compliance agreement (roster) before their team can play. Official will terminate/suspend any game at his/her discretion. ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY Unsportsmanlike or abusive behavior by spectators, players or teams will not be tolerated. Individual and team penalties will be given based on the severity of the action(s). They include total elimination from participation, suspension or probation. INSURANCE RESPONSABILITIES This league and its officers have no responsibility toward any player who is injured. Insurance coverage is option of each player through his/her own source. ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ANY PLAYER OR MANAGER THAT IT’S FUND UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL DURING HIS/HER SCHEDULE GAME WILL BE SUBJECT TO PENALTIES AND SUSPENTIONS THAT COULD BE PERMANENT FROM THE REMAINDER OF THE TOURNAMENT NO ALCOHOL IS PERMITED ON THE FIELD OR ON THE TECHNICAL AREA LIFA SOCCER ACADEMY & ITHACA UNITED SOCCER CLUB WOULD LIKE TO THANK ALL THE PARTICIPANTS FOR UNDERSTAND ING AND RESPECTING OUR RULES AND REGULATIONS WHICH ARE FOR THE SAFTY AND BENEFIT OF ALL PLAYERS.
