Charan Singh University, Meerut. The Affiliation is approved by the Bar Council of India. (The Patron of Professional Legal Education & Profession in India). 4

13 Legal Aid Client Counseling Legal Aid implies giving free legal services to the poor and needy Purpose: a) Provides a provision of practical knowledge, training and development of skill sets, b) socially sensitising students, and c) the creation of low cost yet dependable legal counsel and an awareness of the law in socio- economically backward sections. A law office is simulated Two students in a team (Lawyer and Client Participate) The student interviews with a person playing the role of the client. Student is expected to elicit the relevant information, explore with the client his or her preferred outcome, outline the nature of the problem, and present the client with a means for resolving the problem. 14 Moot Mock Trial Mock Trial Vs Moot Mock Trial is designed to test the participants skill of handling and presenting evidence, examining, cross- examining and re- examining witnesses Moot is designed to test the participant’s ability to argue a question of law. It is an adversarial exercise intended to test the evidence in a hypothetical case set in a hypothetical court. In other words, a mock trial is designed to establish the facts of the case By contrast with a mock trial, the participation in a moot have to assume that the evidence has already been tested, and that the facts of the case have been determined, as set out in the moot problem. 13

Student Exchange Program of LLC with KSL, 32 students of KSL, Nepal will be coming to Lloyd College to interact with our students. And, our students will be visiting KSL, Nepal for the same in the month of Oct, 2012 There are many more exchange programs and visits in the coming session, so students pull up your socks and get ready to catch the LLC Spirit with national and international approach.
