5 Medical Career Event Lasswade High School TOMORROW NIGHT 7pm until 8.30pm. This event is open to any S3-S6 students who may be interested in pursuing a career in medicine. Please let your Tutor Teacher know if you are interested. Areas to be covered: Careers in medicine, Careers in other healthcare professions, Getting onto medical (doctor) degree course

6 Race for Life 2015 This Sunday! We will try to meet as a group from 11:30am onwards on the grass behind the food carts. It will be very busy but look out for Miss Lyon and Mrs Crawford. If we don’t see you – good luck!! Unfortunately we were unable to process the t-shirt order due to small numbers. If you ordered a t-shirt please collect your refund from Miss Lyon.

15 Summer Holidays Volunteer Opportunity Helping in one of the Midlothian Libraries (your choice) over the summer holidays Working with primary pupils who are taking part in the Summer Reading Challenge Volunteers should be polite, friendly and aged 12 or over. Ask Kat in the library for an application form, or for more details. Volunteering time in the library can be counted towards Saltire Awards.
