Key principles - 1 Promote records systems that comply with the MoReq2010 specification Encourage a new generation of records systems with proven interoperability through their MoReq2010 certification Establish an international network of professional and accredited MoReq2010 test centres Ensure that all accredited test centres adopt the official MoReq2010 test framework

Key principles - 2 Allow for testing of both dedicated records systems and business systems with built-in records management components Allow accredited test centres to test both common- off-the-shelf (COTS) products and individual site installations Allow consumers to easily discover MoReq2010 compliant products and sites

Key principles - 3 Allow DLM Forum members to view test reports on compliant products Ensure that advertising claims of MoReq2010 compliance and “compatibility” are easily ratified or refuted; and Create a revenue stream to support the development of MoReq2010 through charging fees for product and site certification
