ECB ACO Education & Supported Development for Assessors March 2012 Selection Nomination by CPO/CSO to RPO/RSO Entry point Ideally nominee will have prior and relevant experience Training 6 hour workshop Includes: Policy & Process Criteria & Guidance Simulated practice Assessment Portfolio Assessor builds their own portfolio of assessment evidence for review with the RPO or accredited Assessor Appointment Assessor appointed as match observer by CAO CPO CSO for purposes of Observation Recording Evaluation & Feedback Assessment Observation Recording Criteria applied Evaluation & Feedback Official Receives feedback and agrees a relevant Action Plan to sustain or improve performance Refresher training as necessary Further appointments as required

ECB ACO Education & Supported Development for Scorers Introductory Course 2 - 3 hour Workshop County Certificate of Attendance Supported Development - Performance - Observation Assessment Coaching Mentoring Level 1A Verification of best practice, performance & experience. = ECB ACO Level 1A Certificate Entry Points Level 1 certificate + match experience Supported Development - Performance - Observation Assessment Coaching Mentoring Level 2 Techniques and Practices + Scorer portfolio ECB ACO Level 2 Certificate Entry Points Level 1A certificate + performance Level 1 Education course 14 – 16 hours + Assessment = ECB ACO Level 1 Certificate Entry Points No prior experience required Supported Development - Performance - Observation Assessment Coaching Mentoring Level 3 Multi-day programme ECB ACO Level 3 Certificate Entry Points Level 2 certificate CPD workshops + nomination to RSO Continuous Professional Development (CPD workshops) 1. ECB ACO Education for Tutors March 2012 Tutor Selection Nomination by County Officer to Regional Officer Entry point Ideally nominee will have some prior and relevant experience Tutor Training 6-8 hour workshop Policy & Process Criteria & Guidance Simulated practice Styles, Methods and Approach Familiarisation ‘What and How to’ ACO courses, workshops or programme or by observation and participation in the relevant delivery Lead Tutor Selection and Accreditation for Managing the various courses, workshops, events and programmes Refresher training as necessary Co-Tutor Observes, supports and/or co-delivers the course, workshop or programme Tutor Portfolio Assessor builds their own portfolio of assessment evidence for review with the RPO or accredited Assessor Further programmes as required
