You told us: Meeting and sharing ideas from other farm attractions was a key benefit of Membership In 2013, we held more events: The Annual Conference 2 Open Days A new 2 day Roadshow 2 Educational Workshops Over 500 Members attended our events in 2013.

In 2013, more Members used our advice email service.

You told us:: You wanted independent judges for the awards In 2013, 5 out of 7 categories had external judges.

You told us: You needed to keep your costs as low as possible. In 2013... Sponsors obtained for all events No subscription increase in 2013 No increase in event attendance fees

We also managed to look at other ways to save you money... In 2013... Booker have given Members a 5% discount Regency Purchasing have waived all fees.

You told us:: You wanted a new NFAN website The new website was launched in October 2013

You told us:: Trade Members wanted more of a say Two trade Members now sit on the Committee

You told us: You wanted longevity for NFAN In 2013, we have Created a business plan for NFAN Have started to formalise processes And for 2014 are introducing a Vice-Chair

You told us: You wanted help with the Code of Practice In 2013, we ran 4 FREE workshops for you. Jointly created with the HSE.

We have also created a COP video... Which we can show for the very first time today...

The website is going to get even better in 2014 Adding a new video is just the start – We are adding a Members only Forum – We are building up the Resources section – We are improving the online booking And we are reviewing how we can help Members promote job vacancies better

We are also refreshing the awards... Two brand new categories New Innovation Award New Lifetime Achiever Award Award Entry Packs are available today

The organisation is growing But with even more Members, we could have more income...to do even more. Do you know a trade supplier? Do you know any farm attractions? Or anyone thinking of starting a farm attraction? Simply give us their details and we’ll do the rest.
