6 PostalOne! Registration Process After Application Approval by USPS –Customers will Receive » PostalOne! Data Exchange Agreement » Site Administrator Designation Form » Customer Request for Access – PS Form 1357-C –Account Activation » User accounts will be activated after USPS receives the signed agreement and 1357 forms » FAST specific - users will be provided with a SchedulerId and a SchedulerCorpId –Both IDs must accompany all Web Services messages

7 PostalOne! FAST Interface PostalOne! Role – Access Management –Is the system’s authorization interface for business mailers and schedulers –Authorizes and authenticates all business customers/users of FAST –Provides updates to business customer/user profiles to FAST

Role – Data Exchange –Provides an automated and secure process for appointment scheduling and closeout data between schedulers and FAST –Validates (XML format), extends (Mail.dat info), and updates (XML with Tracking ID for asynchronous transactions) Web Services messages and will be used as a data transport between mailers/schedulers and FAST

FAST Interface –Authenticates FAST users –Validates XML file formats when XML files are sent to PostalOne! via Web Services –Extends the XML message, if necessary, by adding Mail.dat container data to the XML –Updates XML messages with tracking and other IDs to support synchronous and asynchronous communication between mailers/schedulers, PostalOne! and FAST
