Young Cities I Developing Energy-Efficient Urban Fabric in the Tehran-Karaj Region TU Berlin, IBBA / BFW-BB e.V. “On the Job” Training 5 3.“On the Job” Training at Construction Areas Realizing special instructions and very short qualification courses for workers and construction site managers to handle new materials correctly and to optimize construction processes  short courses and information materials for “training on demand” have to be developed to meet requirements of realization of new quality and new technology buildings  close co-operation is necessary between team 4 (capacity development/vocational training), team 3 (planning of new quality and new technology buildings) and Iranian partners such as BHRC, NTDC, TVTO, involved construction companies  This activity can currently not be planned and scheduled, because it depends on the timetable for the constructing of new quality and new technology buildings
