2. Vocabulary Review
A ratio is a comparison of two quantities by division.

A rate is a special type of ratio comparing two quantities with different units.

A unit rate is a rate that is simplified so that it has a denominator of 1 unit.

Substitute in the values given for each quantity.
Divide the numerator and denominator by 24 to find the unit rate.
